Henry Erben

Henry Erben was a rear admiral of the United States Navy, who served in the American Civil War and the SpanishAmerican War.

Erben was born in New York City. He entered the Navy as a midshipman onJune 1848, and was promoted to passed midshipman onJune 1855, to master onSeptember 1855, and to lieutenant onDecember 1856.
